Italian long-established boat builder Baglietto adds to an already striking number of deliveries this year with five more yachts handed over to as many Owners, just at the start of the 2024 summer season. Following the T52 Ark of Fate \u2013 the winner of the prestigious World Superyacht Award 2024 in the \u2018<strong>Displacement Motor Yachts 499GT and below, 45m and above<\/strong>\u2018 category and currently cruising around Asia -, two DOM 133 motor yachts (Barbara Anne and Astera) and two T52 hulls (Akula and Infinity) have now also been delivered to their Owners.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This is an outstanding productivity achievement for Baglietto, made possible by the Company\u2019s strong commitment and major investments in both human resources and infrastructures: \u201cOver the last few months, we have increased the number of manufacturing and technical personnel\u201d, confirms Baglietto\u2019s CEO Diego Michele Deprati \u201cand invested greatly in infrastructures, enlarging the shipyard and maximising its efficiency. We are also currently completing all tests required to start up the B-Zero green hydrogen station, which will produce clean energy using fuel cells. This is just the beginning of a long-term path the Company chose to embark upon years ago, pursuing sustainability and innovation, with more steps to be taken over the next few years\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cIn an undoubtedly formidable year, our shipyard has proven its soundness and organisational strengths, which are surely a pre-condition to achieve such outstanding results. Now, we can finally savour the joy of knowing that our happy Owners will be enjoying their holidays onboard one of our yachts\u201d, comments Baglietto\u2019s Chief Commercial Officer Fabio Ermetto, \u201cwhile we look forward to delivering two more T52 yachts later this year\u201d. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Baglietto<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Boat builder Baglietto specialises in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts ranging between 38 and 50 metres in length and steel &amp; aluminium displacement mega-yachts above 40 metres. Baglietto can currently rely on 2 production sites, in La Spezia (headquarters) and Carrara (operating site). The La Spezia headquarters extend over an area of approximately 35,000 sq. m. Over the last few years, the entire production site has been extensively renovated and enlarged. Three new sheds allowing for the construction of yachts up to 65 m in length were built in La Spezia, as well as new fully-equipped quays, to berth vessels of up to 70 m. The operating site in Carrara, conversely, comprises 2 areas of 5,000 sq. m each. One is used to build military crafts, while in the other \u2013 now equipped with 4 new sheds \u2013 yachts up to 50 m in length are built. Baglietto\u2019s activities are set to grow considerably also in the military sector with the BAGLIETTO NAVY brand.
