“Investing in the future means respecting the present.”
Throughout its history, Baglietto has always combined its artisanal spirit with the most advanced technological research. Its commitment to sustainability renews this very attitude, fitting seamlessly into a course set more than 170 years ago. For us, innovation is exactly this: taking everything that ambition and knowledge have achieved so far and, with a bold vision, making another leap forward toward something that did not exist before.
HYBRID PROPULSION
Our ongoing commitment to innovation and investment in green technologies is demonstrated by the fact that we were the first shipyard in Europe to receive the commercial Hybrid Power certification from Lloyd’s.
To date, several vessels have already been launched using our advanced hybrid propulsion system, which combines diesel engines, electric motors and lithium batteries.
The integration of these elements enables access to multiple operating modes, optimizing performance, efficiency and onboard comfort in every situation: from fast, powerful navigation to silent cruising, all the way to complete energy autonomy at anchor.

Bzero – B RAISED TO ZERO.
Bzero transforms seawater into “green” hydrogen, powered by renewable energy, redefining the future of propulsion.
The first onshore prototype is already operational at the shipyard, paving the way for its onboard implementation on Baglietto yachts starting in 2028.

THE ENERGY OF THE SUN
Baglietto has embarked on a series of investments in clean energy, with a tangible step represented by the installation of photovoltaic systems at the La Spezia shipyard. This systems already contribute to covering the company’s energy needs and marks a concrete move toward greater efficiency and environmental responsibility.

LOW IMPACT MATERIALS
Baglietto integrates materials and processes with reduced environmental impact, in line with the commitments expressed in its Sustainability Report. The search for innovative solutions guides the selection of recycled, recyclable, or responsibly sourced materials, with the aim of reducing waste and optimizing the entire production cycle. Alternatives offered to owners also include materials that replace traditional teak. While it represents a more sustainable solution, it is currently used primarily in technical areas. This responsible approach also extends to the shipyard’s advanced innovation projects, including Bzero.

RECOVERY AND RECYCLING OF METALS AND COMPOSITE MATERIALS
The construction site’s activities generate various types of waste, including liquid processing residues, mixed and wooden packaging, as well as metal scraps such as aluminum and steel. The recovery and recycling of metal and composite materials are a central element of the production processes, thanks to systems that ensure careful selection of waste and its proper delivery to certified supply chains. Highly recyclable aluminum is recovered and reintroduced into industrial circuits, while composite materials are processed using technologies that enable their valorization or transformation into new applications. This circular approach helps reduce the environmental impact of the processes and supports a production model geared towards greater responsibility and innovation.

Certifications
Baglietto operates in accordance with the highest international standards, ensuring quality, safety and sustainability at every stage of yacht construction. Our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications attest to our commitment to process excellence, environmental protection and workforce safety, delivering yachts that are reliable and built with responsibility in every production detail.
